Paperback Swap

Hey ladies and gents.

I found this site because of one of you a few days ago. I just wanted to say its an awesome site! I just wish there were more homeschool books. They have a whole section for homeschool books, but very few. They have 124,400+ books at 2:30 on 9/16. Every few hours it goes up, but there are only 15 books related to homeschooling. Whats wrong with that picture? We are almost invisible!! Homeschoolers are bibliophiles almost by nature. I'm sure most of you have at least a few homeschool books you don't need anymore, old editions, etc. Why not put them on the site and get yourself or your family a few books you haven't read yet. Are you getting ready for a project on a new topic and have little information... get a new book on it. I registered on the 13th. Since then, I have requested 5 books and mailed 4. If you want to sign up, which I recommend you do, just go to http://www.paperbackswap.com. If you'd like to help me get some more books, you can refer me. If this is against comm rules, just let me know and I'll edit this part. Swap Your Paperback Books - PaperBackSwap.com

If you register, I'd like to have your member name so I can add you to my buddy list. Maybe we can find a way to get some more homeschool books available for each other. Wouldn't that be a great way to get some cheap/free new books!? Anyone else use this site already?

I'm a member. I've gotten 21 books in my mail box already! Including some lesson plan type books, and reproducible worksheets, homeschool theory books, etc. I think the main reason there aren't a lot of homeschooling books on there is that people tend to hang on to them. But even if you don't find those, you can find books for the kids, or kids' activities books, etc. I've even gotten a Scott Foresman math book (well, it's on its way, hasn't arrived yet).

My nickname on PBS is jaz (not Jaz L., that's another person). I'll buddylist you.

I've listed a bunch of Scholastic Phonics readers; It's almost the whole set. I still have some of the cassetts as well some of the activity books. If anyone wants them, the first person that gets 5 of them off of me, I will ship the whole lot to. My id there is jhefner.
